Grand Hyatt Seoul, opened in 1988, is a unique five-star accommodation located on top of a hill. Grand Hyatt Seoul is a chain of Hyatt hotel, a global hotel company with 200 some hotels and resorts around the world.

Surrounded the lush Namsan surrounding, the so-called "City Oasis" has a great, picturesque view of Seoul. 5 minutes away from Grand Hyatt Seoul is Namsan Park with great walking, jogging courses while there are diverse sports amenities including the outdoor and indoor pool, ice skating ring and tennis courts.

As for transportation, Hangangjin station and Itaewon station (subway line 6) are within 20 minutes walking distance, so a taxi or complimentary shuttle ride (Myeongdong, Itaewon route bus) is recommended. There is also a airport limousine bus service that runs to and fro Incheon Intl airport and Grand Hyatt Seoul while travel to downtown Seoul, Yeouido and and Myeongdong takes 10 to 20 minutes by taxi. Nearby tourist locations also include the War Memorial Hall, Itaewon, Namsan Park and the National Theater.
