The former Crown Hotel Jongno, opened in May 1980, was renovated to reopen as five-star Hotel Crown Insadong in May 2002.
Another Crown hotel chain is located in Itaewon. Insadong is where traditional crafts, cuisine and tea is appreciated while Jongno has jewelry, instrument stores, tasty restaurants and movie theaters.
The Chosun Dynasty palaces Changgyeong Palace and Gyeongbok Palace are also at hand. Jongno 3-ga station (subway line 3) is within 5 minute walking distance from Hotel Crown Insadong and guests can either take taxi or subway to easily reach Myeongdong and Dongdaemun for an exciting shopping experience.
The guestrooms are offered in a selection of 6 room types; Twin, Double, Ondol, Superior Twin, Deluxe Twin and Deluxe Triple, all with European antique interior. The complimentary business center also provides photocopy and other office-related services.
