The former Swiss Grand Hotel, opened in May 1988, has made renovations to reopen as the current Grand Hilton Seoul Hotel in 2000.
Guests traveling from Incheon Intl airport can take a shutle for 50 minutes to arrive Grand Hilton Seoul Hotel and from Gimpo airport, travelers need to take subway line 3, get off at Hongje station and take a cab for 15 minutes to reach Grand Hilton Seoul Hotel. However, it is recommended to take the complimentary shuttle bus from Hongje station to the hotel. Located high up on a hill, the mansion-like hotel enjoys great view and fresh air with Mt. Baekryoen in the background.
Pentagon shaped spacious guestrooms are available in Double, Twin, Ondol and Suite rooms, all with European-style interior. Gyeongbok Palace, Insadong, Apgujeong, the Express Bus Terminal, Shinsadong, and Nambu Terminal can all be reached by short subway rides without transfers. Complimentary shuttle bus rides to business and tourist location of Seoul is also available.
